Our Story
Every brand starts with a love story.. ours just happens to have four paws.
Favorite Child was born in sunny San Diego out of the universal truth that every pet parent knows deep down: our pets really are the favorite children (Sorry, human kids, we still love you ♥).
Our home is filled with joy (and dog hair) thanks to our two dogs and a cat who truly believe this place was build for them... and they are not wrong. We wanted to create a store where every pet could feel that same level of love and ridiculous pampering.. and here we are.
Favorite Child is a Pet Store created for the pawrents who know that new toys, safe gear and cozy beds are all tiny acts of love.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple: to provide pet parents with the best products that combine functionality, convenience, and style.
But love doesn't stop at home. From day one, we made a commitment to give back and support some of the local San Diego shelters and rescues.
Because every pet deserves comfort, safety and a real chance to become someone's favorite child too.
